  • Click the Apply now button

After you click the 'Apply now' button in the job post, you'll be redirected to the organisation's own recruitment system. You may be asked to register, create a profile or login. Please follow those prompts.

  • Be aware of pre-employment screening

All jobs in the Victorian Public Service have pre-employment screening as part of the application process.

You’ll be asked to complete a declaration and consent form about your history of misconduct.

Select ‘do not know/cannot answer’ to questions on the declaration if you have:

  • Confidentiality obligations
  • Non-disclosure obligations
  • Legislative obligations

Make sure you don’t breach any of these obligations when you take part in the recruitment process.

  • Complete the online application

It can take around 15 minutes to complete the online form. Follow the prompts to enter information from your prepared documents. And good luck.

During the online application, you’ll be asked if you are an Indigenous person or a person with a disability. It's not compulsory to answer these questions. However, this information can help us to make any adjustments for you during the application and interview process.
