About the role

University Hospital Geelong is a level 5 regional referral service with 2500 high and low risk births annually, in addition to a busy acute and subacute gynaecology service.

Your clinical role will involve managing inpatients, ambulatory care patients, emergencies and referrals, supervising junior medical staff and teaching medical students, as well as participating in skills development programs for residents and registrars.

Your non-clinical duties include participation in morbidity and mortality audits, assisting in roster development for junior medical staff, contributing to the development of evidence-based guidelines for the unit.

This busy role involves working closely with consultants, registrars and residents alike. This role will particularly suit those with a long term interest in regional practice
