About the Role


An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated doctor interested in a career in endocrinology & diabetes. You will work with a dynamic multi-disciplinary team at Western Health. The major component of the position involves clinical research based at Sunshine Hospital in the Endocrinology & Diabetes Unit. Additionally for approximately 18 weeks a year the successful applicant will backfill the clinical work of the Footscray Hospital and Sunshine Hospital endocrinology registrars when they are on leave.  The successful applicant will join the after-hours on-call Endocrinology Registrar roster


Applicants must have at least passed the written FRACP examination and be planning to sit the clinical examination in 2021 or alternatively have already passed the clinical examination. The position has accreditation as a core year in Endocrinology specialist training.
