Part of a Team
The Department of Anaesthesia, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, currently employs approximately 20 full-time, 40 part-time Anaesthetic Consultants and 23 Anaesthetic Registrars.
The department supports a wide range of clinical anaesthetic services including regional anaesthesia and ultrasound, obstetric and paediatric services, cardiac anaesthesia (including transoesophageal echocardiography) and a benchmark perioperative service (including CPET). The department has a strong commitment to excellence in clinical, education and research activities and a strong focus on preparing senior trainees for consultant practice.

We have 3 positions available for our 2023 intake.
