Applications are now open to newly graduated Enrolled Nurses who are seeking a supported transition to practice position, commencing in 2023 and who meet the following criteria:

  • Completed an Enrolled Nursing qualification within the last 12 months
  • Applicants must have endorsement for all 5 routes of medication administration
  • Applicants must have less than 6 months or less Acute hospital experience as an Enrolled Nurse

The Monash Health Enrolled Nurse Transition to Practice Program offers: 

  • An eight-month structured program to consolidate your skills, commencing from May 2023. Early and flexible commencement options will be considered for AHPRA registered Enrolled Nurses
  • A guarantee of ongoing permanent employment with Monash Health Bureau (Pool) at the completion of the program, at your choice of part-time or full-time EFT 
  • A diverse range of supportive clinical areas to build your experience and confidence in acute, residential and sub-acute settings
  • 2 x 4-month rotations 
  • Upskilling in caring for patients with complex behaviours
