Applications for South West Healthcare's 2023 Graduate Nurse Program (GNP) are now open!

About our 2023 GNP

We believe in providing a highly supportive environment for all Graduate Nurses that encourages professional development and excellence in nursing care.  Our aim is to provide clinical structured support during the transition from student to Registered Nurse, whilst encouraging self-directed learning. 

This program commencing from February 2023 offers the opportunity for you to consolidate and apply theoretical knowledge by developing skills in a variety of clinical rotations. Graduate Nurses have the option to work either full or part time hours (a minimum 64 hours per fortnight) to support work/life balance. Contracts for this program will be available for 2 years, with opportunities to apply for ongoing employment.

All our GNP positions are subject to the state-wide Computer Matching process, conducted by the Post Graduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV). All public health Graduate Nurse Positions are allocated in Victoria through this Computer Matching Service. To be eligible for our GNP you must have a current residential address within Victoria. Graduates of interstate Universities or full-fee paying Victoria graduates can still apply for a limited number of places. Refer to PMCV guidelines and website for full details at www.pmcv.com.au

3. Copy of your academic transcript to date (including grading key)
4. Copy of two most recent acute clinical placement assessments
5. Copy of passport styled photograph of applicant
