What’s on offer? 

Remuneration package of up to $90,200.00 p.a., comprising base salary of $78,925.60 p.a. (HM11), employer contribution to superannuation (10%), continuous medical education support allowance $3380 p.a. pro rata), examination leave (up to 8 days p.a) conference/seminar leave (1 week/p.a.).

About the Intern Role  

Intern Doctors are provided with clinical exposure through allocations to different specialist departments throughout the year to undertake core and non-core rotations. The term is designed to provide appropriate exposure and experience to enable you to attain the required skills and knowledge for that term in that discipline.

It is expected that Monash Health will have ~117 Intern positions in 2023 (subject to accreditation of 10 roles with PMCV). Monash Health value the need for flexible work arrangements and are supportive of part time job-share requests.

Under the Victorian Public Health orders, all employees working within the Public Health system must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and are required to provide acceptable evidence of their vaccination status.  The current orders require evidence of three doses.
