About the role

Eastern Health CYMHS provides specialist mental health services to the children and youth of the Central and Outer East of Melbourne.  The service includes five community teams, an adolescent inpatient unit and day program. With links to both Monash and Deakin Universities, the service is a centre of clinical, training and research excellence.

Applications are invited from eligible medical practitioners for the position of Advanced Trainee in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  Successful applicants will have completed basic training in psychiatry (RANZCP) or paediatrics (RACP - Paediatrics) and be eligible for enrolment in the two year advanced training with the Victorian Child Psychiatry Training Program - Mindful.

Supervised clinical practice experience will be gained in specialist multidisciplinary community and inpatient settings.  There is also opportunity for clinical research and supervision in management and leadership in psychiatry.
