Agriculture Victoria is seeking applications for an euthanistic senior project manager to join the Plants Chemicals and Invasive Unit (PCI) to lead engagement with Registered Aboriginal Parties and other key stakeholder to build awareness of Aboriginal cultural heritage and invasive species management throughout Victoria.

We are looking for an energetic, innovative and thoughtful candidate who has enthusiasm for working in a diverse team to deliver quality services to the Victorian community.

The purpose of this role is to work collaboratively with Registered Aboriginal Parties and other key stakeholders to develop communication materials that can be used by private and public land managers to assist with the management of established invasive species in culturally sensitive landscapes.

The successful candidate will be connected to the Victorian Aboriginal community, have well developed communication skills and an ability to engage and work with key stakeholders involved in invasive species management and Aboriginal cultural heritage.  This is a fixed term position until 30 June 2023 funded through the Federal Governments Established Pest Animals and Weeds Management Pipeline Program.
