About the role
The Adult Access Service is a newly established regional integrated service incorporating crisis assessment and treatment, emergency department response (Box Hill hospital, Maroondah hospital & Angliss hospital), telephone triage and mental health and police response.  We are seeking passionate and recovery-focused Mental Health clinicians to join the Access Clinical Development Program.


The Access Clinical Development Program is designed for new and novice mental health clinicians to be part of a program that supports an introduction to all areas of Adult Access through extra supernumerary shifts, increased supervision and a structured education program.  The Access Clinical Development Program (ACDP) offers a 9-month program that incorporates 3 x 2month rotations to CATT, ED and Phone triage and then normal access rotations including night duty in ED.

About you
To be successful in the role you will:



  • Hold registration/membership with the relevant board

  • A minimum of 3 years of mental health experience post-registration.

  • Have recent experience in acute inpatient or community mental health

  • Possess well-developed interpersonal and leadership skills 

  • Have the ability to work as part of a diverse team 

  • Have a strong commitment to high-quality patient care

  • Be highly accountable and display a supportive and engaging style
