ACIS  Clinician - Bairnsdale  Community Mental Health Services

Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for 3 suitably qualified Mental Health Nurses to join the  Bairndale team on a full and/or part time on going basis.

Reporting to the Team Seniors and line Manager this role plays an important role in supporting individuals who experince poor mental health in the community.

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a client focused approach to their work
  • Be able to undertake a full range of clinical duties including clinical assessment, providing evidence based treatments and support to consumer and their families/carers.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Have experience of working with individuals who experince poor mental health 
  • the role will require a rotating roster inlcuding some evening work and weekends

The Victorian Government has allocated funds to support rural and regional Area Mental Health Services (AMHS) to provide incentives to attract workers to roles that are difficult to fill. The regional mental health workforce incentive grants will support the attraction, recruitment, and retention of new workers to Latrobe Regional Hospitals mental health services in regional Victoria. This role has been identified as being eligible for an incentive payment of up to $20,000 subject to eligibility and negotiation with successful candidates. This incentive may be used to reimburse rent, childcare, school fees, relocation costs and more!
