Administration Assistant

  • Be part of the MidWest Emergency Mental Health & Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Service
  • Ongoing Full Time position, including weekends - Based at Sunshine Hospital, St Albans

Your new role:

  • Provide admin support to the EMH & Consultation Liaison teams at Sunshine Hospital
  • Detailed, accurate and timely documentation management to ensure Mental Health Act - legal paperwork and registration information is completed
  • Manage all EMH legal paperwork & registration documentation on the weekends and Consultation Liaison paperwork during the weekdays, the Administration Assistant is an integral part of the EMH/CL service
  • Work effectively as an integral part of the EMH/CL Team, whilst building positive collaboration with other stakeholders.

About You: 

  • Possess excellent communication skills including the ability to relate appropriately and professionally with staff and management of the service
  • Ability to provide a broad range of administrative and intermediate level keyboard support functions including word processing and database entry with the Microsoft Office Suite package, CMI & site specific systems (BOSSnet/IPM/EMR)
  • Past work experience in a hospital or health setting or mental health service would be highly desirable
  • Experience and knowledge of Mental Health documentation and CMI highly desirable
