Foundation Administration Manager 



  • Full time fixed term 24 month contract

The Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation has an exciting opportunity available to replace a maternity leave position for the role of Administration Manager to work within our team. We are seeking a team oriented and experienced candidate to join our highly experienced and motivated fundraising team. This role reports to the Deputy Director, Foundation and supports the team with gift processing activities, general enquiries and highly developed administrative skills. You will also work closely with The Royal Melbourne Hospital Home Lottery team.

Today, more than 170 years on – our hospital team is made up of 10,400 doctors, nurses, allied health workers and other staff and is one of the largest hospitals in Australia. Spanning across 32 sites, we have been serving Victorians (and many patients from further afield) to provide the very best care possible. The Royal Melbourne Hospital Foundation is thankful to the generous support of our 10,000+ donors who give so generously to support new medical research, equipment, technologies and facilities. Most importantly, these funds help improve patient care and therefore sourcing for philanthropic support is our topmost vital goal.



About you: 



  • Organised with excellent time management

  • Highly developed communication and administration skills

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Highly motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage tasks with minimal supervision

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a small, driven and busy team environment

  • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge database or similar relationship management software

  • Strong numeracy skills and experience in handling cash
