DEPARTMENT:     Maddocks Gardens Aged Care

A customer-focussed individual with excellent administration skills is sought to join our Aged Care team in this full time role.  If you pride yourself on delivering first-class customer service and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills then this is a great role for you.

The Position:

The Administration Officer is responsible for providing timely, accurate and efficient administrative support to assist the day to day operations of Maddocks Gardens.  Key to this role is the provision of outstanding customer service to staff, consumers, residents and families, using a person-centred approach that is professional, approachable, responsive and compassionate at all times.

Maddocks Gardens is a purpose built 90 bed Aged Care complex providing high, low and respite care residential services. Our aim is to allow residents to age within the facility in a friendly and relaxed environment promoting independence and quality of life.

What you need:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration/reception/customer service role
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, person centred manner and proven capacity to consider activities, decisions and outcomes from the perspective of the consumer or end-user.
  • Intermediate word processing skills with demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise in response to varying work requirements. 
  • A Certificate in Business or Business Administration (preferably Level III or above) is highly desirable and finance experience is an advantage
