A customer-focussed individual with excellent administration skills is sought to join our Aged Care team in this newly created role.  If you pride yourself on delivering first-class customer service and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills then this role is a great fit for you.

Key aspects of this role include welcoming residents, visitors and contractors, coordinating activities at the main reception of Maddocks Gardens and providing administrative support to assist the day to day operations of Maddocks Gardens.  Essential to this role is the ability to provide outstanding customer service to staff, consumers, residents and families, using a person-centred approach that is professional, approachable, responsive and compassionate at all times.  It is envisaged that this role will be rostered to work 4 hour shifts across 5 days per week and provide ad hoc leave coverage to team members.

Maddocks Gardens is a purpose built 90 bed Aged Care complex providing high, low and respite care residential services. Our aim is to allow residents to age within the facility in a friendly and relaxed environment promoting independence and quality of life.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an administration/reception/customer service role
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, person centred manner and proven capacity to consider activities, decisions and outcomes from the perspective of the consumer or end-user.
  • Intermediate word processing skills with demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications particularly MS Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook
  • Excellent organisational skills with the demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritise in response to varying work requirements. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with the proven ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.
  • A Certificate in Business or Business Administration (preferably Level III or above) is highly desirable
