STATUS:             Ongoing, Part Time, Shift work

DEPARTMENT:   Emergency

Due to the expansion of administration coverage across the health service, we are recruiting for multiple administrative positions to be based in our Emergency department.  We're looking for proactive, customer focused individuals to provide support across a 24 hour period.

These roles will be rostered to work a variety of shifts, including day, afternoon and nightshifts as well as public holidays and will be remunerated accordingly (see below).

  • Generous remuneration consisting of a base rate of $29.57 per hour, penalty rates for afternoon and nightshifts, 50% loading on weekend shifts, 100% loading on public holidays, 5 weeks annual leave and extensive salary packaging options.

Key role criteria includes:

  • Preferably 2 years' experience or more in a customer service or administrative role.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional, person-centred manner and proven capacity to consider activities, decisions and outcomes from the perspective of the consumer or end-user.
  • A self-starter that is solution-focused, proactive and has the proven capacity to problem solve within the scope of the position.
  • The proven capacity to be adaptive and work independently and efficiently in a busy work environment.
