  • Administrative and Billing Assistant-Surgery Program


Monash Health is excited to announce they are looking for a talented person to provide executive assistance and administrative support to the Neurosurgery Unit.


About the Role and You


The Department of Neurosurgery at Monash Clayton consists of 8 consultants, 7 registrars and 6 residents. We also work closely with Neuro-Interventional Radiologists, ENT surgeons, Intensive Care Unit, Stroke Unit, Neurologists, Nursing and Allied Health staff. We perform elective surgery at Monash Medical Centre Clayton, Monash Childrens and Casey Hospitals.

Monash Health Emergency Departments treat over 150,000 emergency patients a year at Monash Medical Centre Clayton campus, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital. Patients have access to a full range of treatment options, including intensive care.


This is a full-time role based at Monash Medical Centre Clayton. The successful candidate must be experienced in creating and managing staff rosters, billing of private surgery assists and being able to provide friendly, informative and helpful customer service.


What You Need:



  • Minimum 3 years working in the health industry

  • Experience with private patient billing

  • Relevant Qualification would be highly regarded
