About the role

Grampians Area Mental Health Services is currently seeking a highly skilled, experienced and motivated administrator to join our (ASO) team on a Full-time fixed term basis working from our Ballarat Office 40hrs per week with a monthly ADO, Initial fixed term until March 5, 2024. After fixed term period possibility of casual work. This position supports the operation of Grampians Health - Mental Health Services being responsible for various administrative functions as required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure a professional, timely and responsive administrative service is delivered.
  • Provide professional, front line contact for the Grampians Area Mental Health Service, answer and manage telephone enquiries and messages in an efficient and effective manner

Skills and experience

  • Demonstrated capacity to utilise the Microsoft Office suite
  • Establish, maintain and update office and information management systems and procedures.
  • The ability to learn to use data systems quickly.
  • An understanding of medical terminology and experience in a medical records/medico- legal environment is highly desirable.
