Health Information Services (HIS) at Monash Health is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced administration clerk with outstanding customer service skills to join our Admissions /Reception teams at Monash Medical Centre/Clayton, Moorabbin Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital.

About the Health Information Services (HIS)Team and the Role


In this clerical role your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Provide customers exceptional customer service both face-to-face and over the phone;

  • Complete and ensure accurate data entry when admitting and updating patient details on the Patient administrative system (iPM), and other data entry and administrative duties as required (as outlined on the attached PD)


Operating Hours


Our The Main Receptions /Admissions Departments at Clayton, MCH and Moorabbin Hospitals are open 7 days per week. Shifts start and finish times may vary between 6.30am and finish at 8pm with the potential for operating hours to be changed and extended as the service continues to grow. 


Staff may also be required to travel to other Monash Health sites.

  • The completion of a medical terminology course would be looked upon favourably.

  • Flexibility in availability, rostering and working hours is essential.
