An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced Grade 4 musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with skills in Advanced Practice for a fixed term 1.0 EFT Physiotherapy position for 13 months to complete the assessment and monitoring of patients with musculoskeletal conditions as part of a multidisciplinary research project. This role will require advanced communication skills, an aptitude for team work and an ability to provide supervision and support to staff and post graduate students.   The successful candidate will also support Research and Quality Improvement within the Physiotherapy service. This is well supported position and has opportunities for ongoing professional development.


To be successful in this role you will:



  • Possess advanced practice physiotherapy experience with well-developed skills in clinical assessment, radiological interpretation and ordering and fracture management

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be able to work both collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across units and also demonstrate high degree of autonomy

  • Ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and the Live Best Care framework

  • Possess well rounded project management skills

  • Have experience in leading research or quality project initiatives
