What You Will Be Doing

Our Allied Health Assistants form a dynamic team, with a focus on the provision of quality care to assist consumers in achieving their goals. The Allied Health Assistant is a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, assisting with non-clinical tasks and client care under the guidance of the treating care team.

Support allied health and other clinical staff in facilitation of group therapy programs, and individual interventions based on clinical care/treatment plans. You will be a part of sensory modulation activities, running of community meetings, assist with activities of daily living and equipment management including ward and hired stock.

What You Need

We anticipate you will have:
• Allied Health Assistant Certificate IV or equivalent including allied health students who have completed minimum third year of Bachelor degree (or equivalent)
• Previous clinical experience including student placements
• Identifies and proposes practical solutions to problems
