Allied Health Clinical Informatics & Digital Health Lead

About the role

As a key member of the Allied Health Leadership group, the Allied Health Clinical Informatics & Digital Health Leader is responsible for providing innovative solutions to problems and creating a scalable and maintainable system for the input, management and reporting of Allied Health data.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

Essential

  • Tertiary qualification in a Health related field as an Allied Health Professional
  • Eligibility for registration with AHPRA or if a member of a non AHPRA registered profession, eligible for membership of the relevant professional body
  • Demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge and experience of information systems and technology, particularly those used in a public health setting
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret trends and use initiative to address problems
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the dynamics of a large, complex healthcare organisation
  • Ability to lead and influence change in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to establish relationship with key stakeholders

Desirable

  • Completion of or progress towards an additional formal qualification at a Masters (or above) level related to role
  • Postgraduate qualification in health informatics
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience within the public health care sector

Capabilities

  • As outlined in the Department of Health Allied Health Digital Capability Framework at Expert level
