This Position: 


Sits within the Allied Health directorate and specifically within Stepped Care project, with the primary purpose being to provide coordination of Allied Health neurodevelopmental assessment clinics such as the Autism Multidisciplinary Developmental Assessment Clinic (AMDAC) and the Allied Health Developmental Assessment Clinic (AHDAC). It may also be required to provide triage of assessments as well as specific developmental and autism assessments. The role will further strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved with autism and developmental assessment


 


To be successful in this role you will have:



  • Demonstrated ability to work with other professionals to organise and coordinate multidisciplinary clinics involved with the developmental assessment of children

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including other professionals, departments and community agencies

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including when concerns around a child are raised initially by a care provider

  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in the assessment and provision of services to children with autism spectrum disorders and developmental disabilities/delays

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
