THE ROLE
The Asset Planning Officer is responsible for providing support to the implementation of asset plans to the portfolio in delivering the strategic objectives of the Director of Housing properties to support Homes Victoria's broader strategic objectives. The role involves knowledge and analysis of relevant asset information, stakeholder consultation, coordination of planning processes and provide support to the Low Rise Planning Team. This rewarding and challenging role will work collaboratively within the Asset Lifecycle Planning Unit. This group will develop and implement innovative strategies and plans that maximises the performance of the existing asset and property portfolio (over 65,000 properties, approximately $30 billion) with a focus on improved tenant, environmental, risk management and community outcomes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE
1. Contribute to the full life cycle of programs and projects to meet departmental objectives including:
a) Assisting in research, analysis and implementation of programs and projects based on defined outcomes and outputs.
b) Supporting the development and delivery of programs and projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
c) Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
2. Assist in providing advice to stakeholders and assisting in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
3. Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
