About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Development Manager to support the delivery of our Aurora project, reporting to a team of experienced development professionals, you will be a major contributor in the all the project lifecycle phases. A key to the success of this role will be your strong experience in contract administration. 

As an Assistant Development Manager, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development, management and delivery of project strategies.
  • Assisting with the preparation of project, consultant and contractor agreements that are aligned to the project strategy.
  • Preparation and administration of organisational procurement processes.
  • Supporting the team with a range of contractual and financial activities, including the preparation and of management of contracts, budget and progress payments.
  • Preparation and formatting of internal and outgoing correspondence, including but not limited to: board papers, agendas, minutes, memos and other project documentation as required.
  • Coordinating and participating in project meetings, Project Steering Groups and stakeholder forums.

Desired Skills and Experience

About you


Ideally you will have:

  • A strong background and demonstrated experience in contract administration and management.
  • Previous experience in a property related role, with experience in delivery of master planned residential communities being highly advantageous.
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Office and adobe pro, or PDF-based programs.
  • Prior experience in the delivery of high-quality customer service.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exposure to the preparation and analysis of financial feasibility studies, budgeting and cost monitoring.
  • A degree in Property Development, Construction, Project Management or relevant discipline
