About the role:
As one of three Assistant Managers of the Inter-Agency Information Sharing Service (IISS) you will be responsible for overseeing a vibrant, friendly and diverse team of Senior Information Officers within the Police Enquiry & Data Sharing Department (PEDSD) at Victoria Police. The team undertakes important and meaningful work and are responsible for collaborating with a wide range of agencies who are working in the family violence and child protection sector. The key remit of the service is to respond to Family Violence and Child Information Sharing requests for information. The IISS also manages the sharing of information with the Commission for Children and Young People under the Reportable Conduct Scheme and the Department of Justice under the National Redress Scheme. The IISS team consists of one Branch Manager, three Assistant Managers, and twelve Senior Information Officers.
Job specific training will be provided in relation to family violence and child safety and wellbeing as well as information management and systems training. Work-place flexibility with flexible working arrangements including a work from home/work from office split. This unit operates during regular business hours and there are no shift work, weekend, or public holiday requirements.
