VPS 3.2 Associate Intelligence Analyst - Fixed Term Full time until 30-Jun-2022

EPA is looking for a highly motivated Associate Intelligence Analyst to fill a fixed term full time position until 30-Jun-2022. The role of the Associate Intelligence Analyst is to support the delivery of intelligence reporting in support of the Illegal Waste Disposal program and the wider EPA community function.

About the Role:

The Associate Intelligence Analyst will support the work of the Intelligence Team in delivering a suite of intelligence products that provide timely, relevant and actionable understandings and insights, to support evidence based regulatory decision making at EPA.

The Associate Intelligence Analyst role is key in delivering current Intelligence capability, identifying gaps and enabling a forward plan to further develop and embed a successful Intelligence function across the organisation.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Produce timely, relevant and actionable enforcement intelligence products for use by EPA, or in joint regulatory activities under limited supervision.  
  • Assist in the development of key products and processes to contribute to EPA's intelligence capability.
  • Champion the implementation of best practice intelligence procedures across EPA.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to identify and support their intelligence needs.

  • Strong communication skills, including stakeholder engagement.
