About our Monash Women’s Casey Hospital

Our maternity service is the largest maternity care provider in Victoria caring for over 9,000 women each year across three hospitals; Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital and Casey Hospital. Monash Women's provides maternity care for well women and women with more complex and specialty needs.
About the role:
The Associate Midwife Manager performs as a strategic leader. They provide support to the midwifery team leaders and oversee the day to day management of the department ensuring the provision of a high standard of service delivery. The Associate Midwife Manager also provides assistance and support to the midwifery staff on the floor as required.
This role recognises and acknowledges the needs, dignity, culture and values of the individual woman and her family. We aim to empower all childbearing women and their families within a service that embraces both continuity of philosophy and consistency of advice and information.
We have ongoing full time and part time opportunities for Associate Midwife Managers across the full scope of practice. It will involve a rotational roster across all shifts.
You have worked across areas of antenatal/postnatal care and birth suite. We are a collaborative service across Monash Women’s, and Casey maternity has ample opportunities for midwives to expand their clinical knowledge and practice while providing women centred care. We work within a team model of care; our Ruby, Diamond and Sapphire teams practice within this model and aim to provide women and their families with continuity throughout their pregnancy care.
