The Position 

Position Title: Associate Midwifery Manager
Classification: YW11 - YW12
Salary per hour (exc. super): $50.96 - 52.68 per hour
Hours per fortnight: Up to 80 hours available (across two roles)
Employment Status: Permanent and Fixed Term - 6 month rotation


As an Associate Charge Midwife you will be an integral part of the Maternity Services leadership Group monitoring, evaluating and implementing strategies to ensure clinical excellence within our unit. You will be a key contact for other units throughout the organisation and will be expected to develop and maintain positive and productive relationships with these stakeholders. The Team

The Women’s Ward and Birthing Suite is located on Level 3 of the new Bendigo Hospital. The team provides care to women and children from across the Loddon Mallee region and support approximately 1600 births per year. The unit has 6 birthing suites and 18 antenatal/postnatal beds. Midwives and the medical team collaborate during the patients stay to ensure they are given the best possible care. Our patients are supported by an on-call Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Paediatric and an Anaesthetic service.
