About our ward 

We are a 12 bed unit that currently provides a level four high dependency neonatal service. With support from our multi-skilled team you will be able to utilise your clinical knowledge and experience to provide specialised, family centred nursery care to babies (from 32 weeks gestation) with a range of clinical conditions (including Bubble CPAP and High flow).

As a ANUM within Box Hill Hospital Special Care Nursery, you will be required to provide clinical leadership through support and education to patients/clients and nursing/midwifery staff within the unit.

You will be part of a highly dedicated team of medical, nursing, clerical and allied health professionals. We pride ourselves on providing our patients with timely access to high quality care.

To be successful in this role you will have:

•  Sound leadership skills


•  Recent experience in a Neonatal Unit or NICU (essential)


•  Current valid nursing registration with AHPRA 


•  Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills


•  Ability to work collaboratively with a  diverse, multi-disciplinary team strong commitment to high quality, family-centred care


•  Post-graduate neonatal nursing qualifications


•  A willingness to embrace Eastern Health values and contribute to a positive team culture


•  The flexibility to accept a full rotating roster
