About the role

South West Healthcare has opportunities available for skilled and experienced Registered Nurses to join our Medical Unit to support in leave coverage for the positions of Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) and Registered Nurse (RN).

The ANUM position (available until November 2021) is responsible for the promotion and maintenance of clinical standards in the Medical Unit, ensuring the delivery of high quality patient care, strategic and cost effective management. The position also contributes to the overall management of the Medical Unit and deputises for the Nurse Unit Manager when required.

The RN position (available until August 2021) within the Medical Unit works cohesively along with various clinical services to provide positive outcomes for patients and their families in a safe and caring environment.


What you bring

The successful applicant for the ANUM position will have well developed competency and analytical skills in the clinical field, the ability to communicate and manage effectively at all levels with a minimum of four years post graduate relevant nursing experience.

The successful applicant for the RN position will have relevant experience and demonstrated high level clinical and problem solving skills together with the ability to communicate effectively. Evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development will be highly regarded.

Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse is essential for both positions.
