MDHS is looking for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Perioperative team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, in this fixed term position. In this role, you will use your fantastic clinical and interpersonal skills to deliver a high level of care to our patients, provided in a quality framework and promoting positive health outcomes.

Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Perioperative Department

 Fixed Term Part Time – 40 hours per fortnight - commencing 26th July 2021 to 28th November 2021

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

Qualifications / Experience

  1. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Post Graduate Qualification or working towards.
  3. Clinical experience in the relevant speciality.

Specialist Expertise

  1. Demonstrated advanced clinical nursing skills
  2. Demonstrated understanding of professional nursing issues.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of financial management.
  4. Manages and engages with stakeholders consistent with MDHS values of GREAT
  5. Demonstrated evidence of commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.

Personal Qualities

  1.  Possess highly developed interpersonal skills including conflict resolution strategies.
