An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Rehabilitation nursing team in a leadership role. The contract: Part- Time, Fixed – Term 64.0 hours per fortnight until 17th November 2023 with possibilities of extension for the right candidate.

The position:

As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager you will support the Nurse Unit Manager to oversee our high functioning sub-acute team including providing support, leadership and clinical expertise to the nursing team. You will work closely with our medical allied and ancillary staff on each shift, to ensure the provision of exemplary care. Outside of business hours you will act for the Nurse Unit Manager.

What you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration as Registered Nurse with a minimum 3 years post registration experience.
  • Extensive clinical experience with advanced skills and knowledge providing comprehensive clinical assessments, discharge planning/goal setting and transition o care in subacute setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in rehabilitation nursing with current FIM credentialing
  • Proven ability to lead nursing staff to ensure best practice rehabilitation nursing and clinical care is delivered
