Assistant Nurse Unit Manager - Operating Suite

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Hospital are looking for an Assistant Nurse Unit Manager to join our Operating Suite on a part time ongoing basis.

Our Operating Suite is a 24/7 department, requiring nursing staff to be on call overnight.  We operate on weekends and provide emergency care 24/7.

The Assistant Nurse Unit Manager - Operating Suite is responsible for the managementand leadership of our busy Operating Suite.  The Assistant Nurse Unit Manager is vital in the organisation of all theatres including the Emergency Theatre and Endoscopy Suite.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Recent periop management and leadership experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Have completed a Post-Graduate in Perioperative Nursing
