The Women's at Sandringham maternity services is a multidisciplinary team model, providing care to women with low to moderate risk health.
The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (AUM) supports the Services Manager at Sandringham to provide day to day leadership and management of the team ensuring a positive and professional working environment and is a role model in delivering high quality of care to women and their families within a multidisciplinary team environment. The AUM will help in managing the daily organisation of Birth Suite, Postnatal and Pregnancy Day Care. This role will also liaise with the Special Care Nursery and Post Natal Care In The Home teams.

In line with the Health Services Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers) Act 2020, some health care workers are now required to have their flu vaccination to work in health care. Evidence of vaccination is required.
As this role fits into category A or B of the departments risk ratings, applicants will be required to have been vaccinated against influenza. Evidence of vaccination is required.
