At Digital Victoria we are upping the ante - we know in order for Victoria to thrive that we need to be ambitious about transforming the way we do digital.

The Strategy and Performance branch provides strategic and operational leadership to drive whole of government digital transformation in Victoria.  We are looking for an Audit, Risk and Governance Lead to work across the organisation to achieve Digital Victoria's objectives, provide advice to the senior executive team and manage enterprise risk.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role are to:

  • Lead, design and delivery of a high-quality audit and risk
  • Implement and maintain key systems used in the management of audit actions, risks and projects
  • Communicate, consult and build strong and effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Manage Digital Victoria's State Significant Risks.

About You

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Extensive audit and risk experience
  • Proven ability to identify risk, issues and obstacles and avoid or develop appropriate solutions and systems
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to engage with all level of stakeholders, to provide expert advice and recommendations as a subject matter expert
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills to aid your proven ability to develop a robust audit and risk management function.
