Agriculture Victoria Services Pty Ltd (AVS) was established by the Victorian Government in 1986 to provide a commercial interface between its agricultural research and development activities and the private sector. Today, AVS is widely recognised for protecting and commercialising technologies generated by the Agriculture Victoria Research Branch (AVR) of the State of Victoria's Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions (DJPR).

About the opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer within AVS, the Commercialisation Manager is an important role within the company that provides critical expertise in technology valuation modelling, commercialisation, IP protection and commercial R&D collaborations.

About you

To be successful in obtaining this role you will have experience across: 

  • Economic or financial value modelling of technology inventions or IP licence rights;
  • IP landscape and market analysis for guiding IP strategy, protection, commercialisation and portfolio management;
  • Reviewing commercial agreements and preparing associated documentation, including IP licence agreements and contractual R&D arrangements.
