Position Title
Test Analyst Support Officer
Role Description
As part of the Systems Branch Test team you will be responsible for testing business software applications. You will work in a team of developers, architects, business analysts and testers on various systems used by Land Use Victoria using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The role will involve test planning, test execution, defect reporting and test documentation.
Existing Skills
An IT qualification, as well as the following.
Problem Solving:
• Liaises with team members and stakeholders to ensure full understanding of the issues.
• Implement agreed course of action and provide recommendations to adjustments as required. Advanced Computer Skills:
• Uses a wide range of software application features for word processing, spreadsheets, etc.
• Basic understanding of Application and User Interface designs.
Written Communication:
• Identifies key messages and information required for decision making.
Verbal Communication:
• Understands and meets the needs of target audience.
Additional comments or considerations
Opportunities to work on other roles within the branch may be available based on skills and interest. These include business analysis, support or development.
