Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses in the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic medical practitioners to join our team as a Basic Physician Trainee (BPT2) in the Austin Health/Bendigo Health Regional Training Program for the 2023 Clinical Year (commencing February 2023).
Details of positions available and position requirements
We are seeking a BPT2 for a 2 year appointment (BPT 2 & 3) for our Austin Health/Bendigo Health Regional Pathway program.
Our Basic Physician Trainee (BPT) position for 2023 offers a practical, hands on approach to junior doctor training.
We are committed to ensuring progression of our physician trainees and integration of training and education across the Central North West Consortium in preparation for the examinations.
All rotations are accredited by the RACP and are focused on optimising preparation for the written and clinical part of the FRACP examination in a supportive environment.
We have an extensive and structured physician education program which runs throughout the year providing a large range of experiences for professional development and RACP exam preparation.
