The Role
This position is responsible for supporting the Parliament and Ministerial Services team in coordinating the department's Cabinet and Parliamentary businesses and assisting the Departments Ministerial Offices with reception/administrative tasks when required. It is also responsible for providing advice to the department, public entities and Ministers' offices on parliamentary processes and protocols.
You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be decisive and have a commitment to establish and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The Team
The position of Cabinet and Parliament Services Officer forms a part of the Performance and Governance branch in the Corporate Services group.
The Performance and Governance branch's objective is to continuously uplift the effectiveness of the Corporate Services group and the department. The branch does this by providing oversight of operational activities and business functions, delivering strategic projects, and developing departmental guidance and frameworks to enhance the performance of the Corporate Services group and the department. The branch also facilitates high-quality reporting and business planning to contribute to informed decision making across the Department.
