Respect Victoria is currently recruiting a Campaigns Coordinator to support the work of the Communications and Engagement Unit. In this newly created role, reporting to the Campaigns Manager, the successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment contributing to multiple projects with input from various stakeholders. A key area of responsibility for the role will be to provide support to the Campaigns team in the delivery of campaigns, based on extensive market and other research, and based on successful leading behavioural change approaches in other sectors, to address the drivers of family violence and violence against women, and provide support in systematically building a strong primary prevention approach over time.

You will be

  • Developing and implementing above the line and below the line integrated marketing campaigns and activities, across key campaign target audiences and cohorts including women, older Victorians, young men, people with disabilities, cultural and linguistically diverse (CALD) Victorians, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders and LGBTIQ+ communities
  • Preparing briefs for the creation of collateral and creative assets through engagements with external suppliers, including media buyers and creative agencies
  • Supporting the Digital and Social Media Coordinator by contributing to effective digital marketing strategies that respond to core business and campaign objectives
  • Work with others in Communications and Engagement to plan and coordinate content across all channels during campaign and non-campaign periods to ensure alignment with Respect Victoria's campaigns and communication strategies
  • Assisting with post-campaign evaluation and analysis that can guide future activities and maximise return on investment

Respect Victoria

Was established as a Statutory Authority under the Prevention of Family Violence Act 2018. Respect Victoria will deliver on the commitments legislated in the Act and the objectives outlined in Free from Violence: Victoria's strategy to prevent family violence and all forms of violence against women. Respect Victoria is focused on the prevention of all forms of family violence for all Victorians

Are you an individual with

  • Experienced in preparing briefs, letters, emails and reports
  • Confident in conveying ideas and information in a clear and interesting way
  • Good interpersonal skills able to sees things from other's point of view and confirms understanding
  • 3+ years of work experience as a campaigns coordinator
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of social media, digital media channels and Google Analytics 
  • An undergraduate degree in marketing, advertising or communications
  • Experience working in advertising marketing communications and campaign delivery
