Stawell Regional Health is inviting applications for an exciting new position to join our dynamic Day Oncology team as Cancer Resource Nurse (CRN).

Cancer Resource Nurse 
Fixed Term Part Time - 40 hours per fortnight (24 month contract)

About the role:

In this role you will be driving the implementation and delivery of holistic and individualised support to our patients and their families.

The Cancer Resource Nurse is a local point of contact and aims to provide support, information and assistance in navigating health and support systems for patients and their families during their cancer experience. The CRN will assist the patient by allaying anxiety, promoting emotional, physical and psychosocial wellbeing across all phases of their cancer journey.

This role is suited to a nurse with a true passion for cancer care beyond the confines of the treatment unit.

Nurses interested in applying for this new and exciting position must hold a current registration AHPRA, demonstrate diverse and advanced communication skills, be able to work autonomously and as part of multidisciplinary team.
