About the role


The Maroondah Early Psychosis Team is a specialist team for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) providing assessment and case management for young people after their first episode of psychosis or mania.


We are seeking a RPN3 who enjoys working with children, youth and families; and is experienced in the provision of high quality mental health assessment, case management and clinical treatment and interventions for children, young people and their families presenting with first episode psychosis or mania. 


If you are successful you will join a supportive, enthusiastic and experienced team, based on a leafy site in East Ringwood, with the opportunity to work closely with young people and their families to deliver long case management and support, provide secondary consultations to agencies within the region, participate in family therapy, and undertake group work.



About you 


To be successful in this role you will possess:



  • Postgraduate clinical experience and/or postgraduate training in child and adolescent mental health or an allied field. This includes assessment, treatment, and consultation with individual clients and their families as well as broader systemic and community interventions.

  • Current registration with AHPRA or AASW.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and clinical skills.

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
