What You Will Be Doing The main role of the Patient Transport Driver is to provide and maintain a caring environment for non-emergency patients and provide a transport service as appropriate for the needs of the patient. Under the supervision of the Manager Patient Transport, drivers transport patients, clients and residents not requiring medical supervision and their equipment within Peninsula sites and to external locations as directed. Basic vehicle maintenance and cleaning is conducted by the driver. The Position on offer is casual on call as required
What You NeedWe anticipate you will have:• Current Victorian Drivers License (not Probationary)• Demonstrated experience working as an effective member of a team• Excellent customer service skills.• Demonstrated problem solving skills• Demonstrated ability to use hand held devices (mobile phone) for scheduling, communication etc.• The ability to communicate well with, relate to and see issues from the perspective of, people from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds
