What You Will Be Doing

Are you looking for a challenging pharmacy technician job in a large busy public acute hospital? Our Pharmacy Department at Frankston Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic pharmacy technician to join our highly effective and motivated team of Pharmacists and Technicians. The position is fixed term full time, with occasional weekends and public holiday duties.

The successful applicant will provide high quality pharmacy technician support to our Pharmacists and will be required to work across all sites.

Working knowledge of Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme and hospital experience would be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and replenishment of ward impress
• Ordering/processing requisitions
• Stock management
• Dispensing under supervision
• Ward technician tasks

What You Will Need

We anticipate you will need:

• The successful applicant should preferably have completed or be willing to complete an approved Certificate III Hospital Pharmacy Technician course.
• A positive team attitude
• Demonstrated general clerical skills
• Good communication skills
• Commitment to customer service
• Organised and efficient work skills
• Meticulous attention to detail.
