The CDS Engagement Officer will work collaboratively to develop, coordinate and facilitate a range of communications and engagement activities to deliver Victoria’s CDS.

This position supports delivery of Recycling Victoria: A new economy, the Victorian Government's once in a generation plan that's transforming how we value, manage and use materials, as we build the state's circular economy. The introduction of a container deposit scheme (CDS) is a key recycling initiative. We're looking for a talented engagement officer to work on this important and high-profile project with a dedicated group of colleagues and help us win the war on waste.

To be successful in this position you will have strong analytical skills and communication and stakeholder management experience. You will also have proven time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. You will have a flexible, collaborative, and responsive attitude to your work. 

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in communications, public relations, change management, and stakeholder engagement is desirable.

This is a fixed term position available until 28 October 2022.
