What You Will Be Doing Speech Pathologists within the Children's Services Team work together within a multidisciplinary team to provide supports to children with mild to moderate developmental delays. The target group of children are aged 0 - 6 years. In addition to individual assessments and intervention, the role will provide support to families and workers on the developmental needs of the child. This includes outreach, consultancy, education, group work and health education. The role will also facilitate access to other care, health promotion and education services as required. This role is suited to a Grade 2 Speech Pathologist, or alternatively a Grade 1 with experience working within a Community Health setting. What You NeedWe anticipate you will have:• Qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of SPA• Skills in working with children and families - including assessment and therapy • Developing leadership skills and commitment to reflective continuous learning
