About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced healthcare professional to join South West Healthcare (SWH) to lead the establishment of a newly funded Chronic Pain Clinic for South West Victoria.  Responsibilities include researching evidence based Chronic Pain Management models of care; developing relationships with local partners, and regional and metropolitan pain services; determining the suitable framework for the SWH Chronic Pain Clinic; developing access and pathways for referral; and recommending appropriate clinical workforce and infrastructure requirements for the clinic.   


What you bring

As a qualified Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional, you will have excellent communication skills and ability to establish relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.  You will have sound clinical experience, preferably in relation to chronic pain management and a demonstrated ability to lead projects in service design.   You will possess well-developed administrative skills, including regular project reporting to all relevant invested parties.   

This position is temporary Part-Time (32 hours per fortnight) until 30 June 2021.
