Fixed-term role until 31 December 2021 for a well-organised and effective communicator to be our cladding advice liaison.

In this role, you will act as the primary interface between the VBA, building owners and Cladding Safety Victoria (CSV) where the VBA has the responsibility of ensuring the rectification of cladding and other related compliance issues.

Your responsibilities include representing the VBA at public forums, supporting affected building owners through the rectification process, liaising with technical staff regarding technical advice and actively monitoring the progress of each building.


Who we are looking for

  • Experience interpreting technical information and providing advice in an easy to understand manner
  • Well-developed verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise and consult with a broad range of stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong customer focus with good problem-solving and organisational skills
  • Proficiency in the use of technology tools including Microsoft Office and databases
