About the Role:

This permanent opportunity with CFA provides the successful candidate with exposure to a diverse range of claims, enabling you to develop your career in the injury recovery and support services sector. The focus of the role is to manage a portfolio of Workcover, and Volunteer compensation claims in a holistic, efficient and empathetic manner to achieve early recovery, return to life and return to work outcomes.

CFA volunteers are covered for personal injury compensation under the CFA Volunteer Compensation Scheme.  This is similar but not the same as the WorkCover Scheme. CFA manages the entire compensation process from initial liability determinations through to permanent disability and claim closure.

Working with a diverse range of clients you will manage claims whilst developing and maintaining ongoing management strategies for each claim. Important to this role, is an ability to initiate and deliver a proactive approach to injury recovery with a willingness to foster successful relationships with injured members, treaters and key stakeholders.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will ideally be qualified with a Diploma/Certificate in Workers Compensation or Return to Work, with significant experience in personal injury compensation claims. You will have the ability to manage a volume case load with a proactive and strategic approach. Important to this role is your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships when dealing with a diverse range of clients.

Experience working in a self-insurance environment and working with complex claims will be highly regarded.

Please note, this role may require some travel and a full driver's licence is required.
